Pain Relieving Medicines are harmful: The chief pain reliving medicines which are
commonly used are Aspirin and Ibuprofen.
The usage of 300 mg or higher dose of aspirin does no good
to heart patient, rather it is harmful.
Pain relievers, it is true, provide prompt relief from pain
but they also damage extensively several parts of the body. Pain killers can
cause ulcers in the stomach and sometimes the patient can die bleeding. Pain
killers are harmful in the long run.
Old people, women, smokers and drinkers have a greater
possibility of having stomach ulcers.
Therefore, such persons should be
especially careful about using the pain killers.
Natural Pain Relievers:
Garlic: Grind two to three garlic bulbs and mix in 100 grams
of sesame oil, apply this paste on painful parts, it will provide relieves.
Mustard Oil: Mix 5 grams of camphor in 50 ml of mustard oil
and massage the painful parts; it is beneficial and relieves the pain.
Water: Whatever type of pain in any part of the body, first
foment with hot water for 3 minutes, then foment with ice cold water for one
minute. It will be useful.
Wheat: Bake wheat flour bread only on one side. The other
side should be unbaked. Smear the unbaked side with sesame oil and place it on
the painful part and bandage it. It will provide relief from pain.
Gram Flour: If the pain is located in the back, hands and
feet, massage with gram flour. The massage will bring relief from the pain.
Cardamom (Large): Grind large cardamom into fine powder and
apply it on the painful parts, it will be beneficial.
Cardamom: “Eat cardamom and relieve pain” – A survey
conducted by cardamom board says that cardamom has the power to remove
headache, stomachache, vomiting, sensation and the chronic disease of pain in
the joints.
Coffee: Whatever type of pain, it is reduced by taking the
coffee. It contains the elements known as caffeine which affects the experience center of the brain called sensor cortex by stimulating it. Thus it reduces the
pain.
Fenugreek: Roast 100 grams fenugreek seeds on hot plate in
such a way they remain half roasted. Then pound them to a little extent. Mix 25
grams of black salt. Take 2 tsp of it two times a day in the morning and
evening with hot water. It will provide relief from joint pain, back ache, knee
pain, rheumatic pain and all types of pain. It will also check flatulence.
Turmeric: Taking a tsp of turmeric powder in a glass of hot
milk relives body ache.
Cumin Seeds: Boil 2 tsp of cumin seeds in glass of water and
foment the painful parts. Grind the boiled cumin seeds and apply the paste on
the painful parts.
