foods are loaded with fiber, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and
phytochemicals.

Lemons: Lemons are natural bleaching agents because they are
rich in vitamin C and antioxidants that help to flush out toxins and
protect the skin from further damage and hyper pigmentation, therefore, lemons helps to get rid off uneven pigmentation, dark spots, acne, scars etc
Direction: Mix lemon juice with rose water and
apply this on the skin pigmentation or scars with the help of cotton
swab.
Mix equal amount of lemon juice and milk and apply it on under eye
areas to get rid of dark circles.
Rub lemon and sugar on the affected areas to lighten the skin
tone.
Papaya: Papaya contains vitamin D, vitamin A, vitamin B and
Vitamin C, pantothenic acid and folate. They also contain minerals such as
copper, potassium and magnesium. Papaya has enzymes like papain that help to
prevent skin damage from free radicals and have antibacterial, anti fungal
and antiviral properties.

Directions - Make a paste of mash papaya with lemon juice and
pinch of turmeric powder and apply on pigmented scars.
To get rid of dry and flaky skin, apply mash papaya with half
a teaspoon of almond oil.
You can prepare your own scrub by using papaya pieces, orange
peel powder and rosewater for oily skin or honey for dry skin. Apply this
paste in circular motion to scrub the skin.
Eat
a bowl of papaya for breakfast or take it as evening snack.
Avocado: Avocado is rich source of dietary fiber, vitamin A,
Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, niacin, folate and pantothenic acid. It
has antioxidant properties that help to reduce oxidative damage which
in turn prevents DNA damage.
Direction - Make a paste of avocado with rose water and
a pinch of camper and apply it on oily skin. Add avocado to your salads or wraps for healthy skin.

Pomegranate: Pomegranate are rich source of vitamin c, vitamin k and
folate and minerals like calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium, in
fact the pea, the membrane and edible seeds are loaded with antioxidants
that help to protect the skin from UVA and UVB damage and skin
pigmentation.
Directions - Consume one whole pomegranate per day for
glowing skin. You can mash pomegranate seeds and apply the juice all over
the affected area.
Make a face pack with 1 tbsp of gram, 1 table spoon of
fuller’s clay, 1 teaspoon of lime juice and 2 teaspoons of pomegranate
juice to treat pigmentation for oily skin.
