Fruits like apples,
strawberries and oranges are recommended for diabetes. Fruits that raise the
glycemic index should be avoided.
An apple a day keeps doctor away. Apples are loaded with fiber and a
good source of vitamin C. Don't peel the apple as the apple skin is the most nutrient with full of
antioxidants.
Oranges are rich in vitamin C. These are low in glycemic index, orange contains folate and potassium which helps to normalize blood sugars.

decreasing the risk of heart diseases. It is found that women eating high
amount of good fats, unsaturated vegetable fats such as those found in avocados
have 25% less chance to develop type 2 diabetes.
Guava has low glycemic index and
is very rich in dietary fiber that helps to ease constipation and it lowers the
chance of developing type 2 diabetes.
Pomegranates
contain the richest combination of antioxidants of all fruit. They protect from
free radicals and chronic diseases, they are rich in powerful phytochemical
compounds.
Grapes modulates the blood
glucose response by affecting how the body secretes and uses insulin and are very
nutritious.
Red Grapefruit it is high in antioxidants it decreases LDL bad
cholesterol by 20% and triglycerides by 17%.
Melons are loaded with high nutrients
Berries are diabetic super food
because they are packed with antioxidants, vitamins and fiber and they are low
in glycemic index.
Fruits that raise the
glycemic level should be avoided by the people with diabetes or should be taken
in quantity referred by the doctor.
