Add cinnamon into your food. Researchers believe the cinnamon has a great effect at reducing blood sugar levels, so add cinnamon to your regular diet to reduce high blood sugar levels.

Fish is high in protein which does not influence glucose, fish also has less fat and cholesterol. Fish also have high levels of omega-3 fatty acids which lower fats called triglycerides and promotes overall heart health.

Take healthy carbohydrates like barley, oats and brown rice, bread and cereals are also healthy.
