Diabetes vegetarian recipe for keeping the blood sugar levels in check


A good diabetes meal plan should fit with schedule and eating habits.

Nutritional benefits of fenugreek leaves as they are green leafy vegetables so they give all the goodness of green vegetable. Fenugreek leaves are slightly bitter in taste and they are very good source of iron.

Fenugreek juice works as healthy perfect drink to control the hormonal level of insulin in the blood. Fenugreek is considered to be similar to bitter gourd when considering the bitter taste and properties of regulating insulin.

To prepare fenugreek Bread: 200 grams of white flour, some fenugreek leaves, salt and turmeric as per taste.

Take a bowl and put all the ingredients together and some water and make tough dough.

Make small balls out of dough and make circular plain. Take a pan and put dough spread on it and cook it by some oil and cook them until golden brown and serve them with sauce or curd.

The fiber in fenugreek leaves helps in reducing high blood sugar level and by taking these fenugreek bread diabetes can be reduced.

For making smoothies we need : oats , flax seeds, chia seeds, banana, 2 spoons of egg white, avocado, milk and spinach.

Take a blender put 1tsp of oats, 1tsp of flax seeds, 1 tsp of chia seeds, ½ banana,  2 spoons of egg white, spinach, avocado, one cup of milk and blend them together.

Put it into serving glass and garnish with some walnuts.

This serving contains 360 calories, 46 grams carbs and 17 gm protein.
