Every women or girl has the problem of irregular periods at least once in their lifetime. The irregular periods are medically known oligomenorrhea. This is a common problem among girls and women between the ages 14 to 50.

Jaggery:   Jaggery is good home remedy to pre-pone the periods, consume jaggery with sesame seeds or drink a glass of ginger juice with jaggery on an empty stomach to pre-pone your periods.

Pomegranate:  Drink pomegranate juice for 2 to 4 times a day for some days or have one glass of pomegranate juice with sugarcane juice a day, to pre-pone your menstrual cycle.

Carrots: Eat fresh carrots or consumed 2 to 4 glasses of carrot juice a day to pre-pone your periods.

Pineapple:  High levels of bromelain in pineapple help effectively for your early periods, when it is consume in large amount.

Turmeric:  Boil a spoon of turmeric powder in a glass of water and consume it twice a day to pre-pone the period, but you have to start this remedy 10 days before you are expecting your period dates.

Carom Seeds: Consuming a glass of carom seeds juice twice a day helps to pre-pone  the periods even fenugreek seeds helps to pre-pone the periods.

Natural Remedies to Postpone the Periods

Parsley leaves:  Boil parsley leaves in half liter of water for about 20 minutes, strain the water and drink it with honey for 2 to 3 times a day.

Avoid eating foods such, as papaya  pineapple eggs, that is heat generating foods 10-15 days prior to your cycle date.

Keep stress at bay:  Stress can interfere with your menstrual cycle, stress causes ill effects on hormones which either delays or can cause early periods. If you not aware about your periods then stop taking stress.

With proper calculation on your menstrual periods, and selecting right kind of food, periods can be  either be pre-pone or postponed, so it is better to stop taking pills which can cause damage to your health.
